M2 Receives EU Funding for Solar Project

[Stockholm, Sweden, October 29th, 2008] M2 Engineering AB has received confirmation from the European Commission for the award of a significant grant in connection with the ongoing project for the development of innovative solar technology. The funding has been approved under the LIFE+ program for the environment. The grant represents the largest amount awarded for a Swedish technical project within this program.

M2’s project, entitled Sunrise, will demonstrate and evaluate the functionality and the effectiveness of a highly innovative solar cell production technology. Expected results include significantly lower production costs, increased energy efficiency and more environmentally friendly end products.
